Since committing to being more concious about nutrition and clean eating, I'm starting to reap the benefits! Planning out meals for the week (or finding a ready made plan online to get started) has helped me make food ahead of time to parce out during the week. Last night, I made a batch of steel cut oats while I was doing dishes and cleaning up the kitchen and portioned them into containers to keep in the fridge for easy breakfasts or snacks.
For work, I've been bringing my lunch and two snacks every day. I even packed my lunch and snacks for a class I went to out of town this week instead of hitting the closest fast food joint! Part of the discipline is coming from doing the Ultimate Reset from Beachbody. I've been looking at it for at least a year, and finally committed to it after becoming a Coach (and getting the discount!). I'm ACTUALLY developing good habits, and sticking to it! Watching for deals on easy single portion and lunch containers has been key to making it easier; I've picked up some handy stuff from Sistema from TJ Maxx at great prices.
