It sounds like you had a big weekend.... Item #1 - Good for you! Small steps... Item #2 - Be generous with yourself, your world is changing and you are still trying to orient your "new"self within it... and might be for some time. Go slowly and forgive yourself. I guarantee if something like that happens again, to anyone, you'll be the first in line to help. Item #3 - Tricky. Family is tricky, their best (or worst) intentions aside. You know who you are, and I think you handled it the best you could. I'm glad your mom was supportive of you as well!

As always, thank you for your perspective. I think items 2 and 3 were just so surprising, and I've been relying so heavily on planning EVERY. LITTLE. THING. for the last several months, I don't really think well on my feet in unfamiliar environments. I expected remarks on my weight loss, so I was ready for those conversations. I wasn't ready for item #2 and I sure as hell wasn't ready for someone to tell me that I in fact have NOT lost weight and better hurry up and get on it, starting with 30 pounds. It's all a learning experience, which I am reminded of every day in a new way. Just gotta keep working!
