I'm glad that you tossed that doctor and know when you are hearing garbage - even from a so-called professional! I currently have a crappy (in my opinion) weight loss doctor - but I am staying with him strictly to be the blip on his experimental data! I only go to see him every 2 months now, so it isn't so bad. He prescribes a fat-blocker (which, hello - fat intake is not my issue as I told him first appointment) which I took for the first 3 months and lost a total of 3 pounds. I got the whole "you only get out what you put in" spiel which had me devastated because I was working my ass off and eating EXACTLY to plan. I took myself off of the pills and even though I then started dropping some weight at every appointment he kept saying "you know, people who take the pills have a better success rate". Grrrrrr. September will be the last time I ever set foot in that office - and it can't come soon enough. (Aside - my weight issues are directly related to stress and sleep. Both of which he claims are non-factors in weight loss. Hah.)
bahhhhh likes this comment.
