So, today I took a break from the gym. My roommate and I plan to go on MWF, so I plan to do an at home workout and a squat challenge on TTHS. Today's food intake was okay...until I got home from school. I take a cake decorating class, which is conterproductive to my weight challenge, but I've committed to giving my snacks to my friends. I did have a smedium piece of the cake today though. Other than that, food wise I did pretty well. I had oatmeal and tea for breakfast, tuna on a whole grain pita with grapes and strawberries for lunch, and salmon with mac and cheese and mixed veggies for dinner. And of course, tons of water.

I started the squat challenge today. I found it on Instagram a while ago but never did the exercises. It is a 16 week at home program aimed at lifting and rounding the booty. And it's not just squats. Here's what I was supposed to do today.

 

Front Kick: 5 sets of 14 reps (each leg)

Lunge Kickbacks:4 sets of 12 reps

Box Bridge: 4 sets of 8 reps

Single Leg Split Squat: 3 sets of 12 reps

Chair Squat Jump: 6 sets of 16 reps

I struggled through it but ya'll I did everything but 5 sets of the chair squat jump. Mainly because I don't have a chair  and the stool was wayyy to high. And I was actually sweating a little, which is new for me because I rarely sweat at all....

Anyways, back to the gym tomorrow.
