Well, the good news is that I am down another pound. On the other hand, this quick detox is creating havoc on my face as not experienced in 30 years. I have been "Proactiv" and trying to keep up with it.
Usually it is 3 to 5 weeks into a new program that I experience a minor breakout. Started seeing a little "activity" 7 days in and today was the first time in I can not remember that I have a "breakout" on my nose. The Proactiv is already helping - thank goodness. And yes I am drinking "mucho agua" and herbal teas.
Anyway let's get to the food plan for today. Today is a "happy hour" day at the Coyote for us. While they have an extensive menu it is extremely difficult to glean my clean meal from it.
So Day 9 is Phase 1 - Day 2 Unwind Stress
Breakfast: Quaker Old-Fashioned Oats, Small Organic Gala Apple, Cinnamon, Himalayan Salt and of course my Pomegranate aril garnish (love those glistening jewels)
Snack: Apple with Saigon Cinnamon
"Lunch - Happy Hour": Water with Lime in a cocktail glass, Grilled Chicken Breast (Penzey's Turkish seasoning I will take with me and beg them to use) and Romaine Lettuce Salad with Pomegranate Vinegar & Grapefruit (I will smuggle it in to add to my salad)
Snack: Small Gala Apple with Cinnamon (no more apples until next Monday - so enjoy this one)
Dinner: Quinoa, Grilled Chicken (left over from lunch), Baby Romaine Salad
