This whole Fast Metabolism diet is about revving up the metabolism by keeping your body (and on a side note my mind) confused. Today's breakfast had to have protein, veggies, grain and fruit. I will also have to have 2 protein snacks witth at least a cup of vegetables today and well as two more meals each with at least 2 cups of vegetables.
So, for "breakfast" I made cabbage soup and used chickpeas as a "vegetable protein" and black rice for my grain. For my fruit I threw a cup of frozen blueberries and a cup of non-sweetened almond milk in the vitamix. Seriously stuffed. I don't know how I will manage my "snack", but I will figure it out.
Testerday's crockpot balsamic pork tenderloin was delicious and I have leftover to work in my plan. Also, I have my girlfriend coming to play Scrabble (I hope) so I have Tenderloin and brussel sprouts planned for dinner mmmmmmm.
