Well, here I am at day 16.  Yesterday I found myself ravenous about an hour before dinner.  Since I have been doing this from The Fast Metabolism Cookbook I don't reallly have the detailed rules from The Fast Metabolism Diet: Eat More Food Lose More Weight  (I just ordered it from Amazon and it comes today).  I just joined an FMD Support group on facebook and they reminded me that I can have all the phase appropriate veggies I want at anytime.  

So last night before I went to bed I started a crockpot of Phase 1 veggies - a turnip, parsnip, carrots, and white and red onions in chicken stock with bay leaves and a cinnamon stick.  This morning I got up and forced in 8 ounces of Kale and added a splash of apple cider vinegar- I will add a grating of nutmeg shortly.

The one rule I have not been following is that I am supposed to eat within 30 minutes of getting up.  So this morning I ate my quinoa and grapefruit.  When Art has breakfast I will have a big bowl of my veggie soup vegetables.

Today is date day.  So here is my plan:

Breakfast:  Qunioa and Grapefruit with a splash of coconut vinegar.

Breakfast 2 with Art:  Veggie Soup veggies

Snack 1:  Apple with Saigon cinnamon

Lunch @ The Coyote:  Grilled Chicken Breast and Romaine Lettuce (topped with my quinoa, apples, celery and fresh lemon juice I will bring from home)

Snack 2:  Apple (last one for this week)

Dinner:  Veggies from Soup, Quinoa, Broiled Chicken breast.
