Exactly 3 weeks today!!! I am still super motivated and excited - still working on my 30 Day Challenges (Abs and Squats at the moment). I also will be finishing my first week of Nutrisystem tomorrow (the Fast 5+ week). To date (since 11/17/15), I have lost 7.8 lbs., so as long as I keep the weight off, I have already achieved my Round 1 goal for the Transformer Challenge. This is so exciting - 2.6 lbs/week!
Because I am a notorious planner by nature, I mapped out possible weight loss rates to see when I can expect to reach my ultimate goal weight and I am so excited to know the end is in sight (in the not so distant future). :D
If from here on out I lose 2 lbs a week, I will be at my goal weight by May 3, 2016. At 1 lb lost a week, I will reach my goal weight on September 27, 2016. Even if I only lose 1/2 lb. a week from here on, I will still reach my ultimate and final goal weight by March 7, 2017.
If I maintain my current rate of weight loss, I would be at my goal weight no later than March 29th, 2016 - super optimistic (and most definitely unrealistic), but had to see the best case scenario. Hehe
My mom and I had our 1st weekly walk date the other day, which was super relaxing and fun. We definitely plan on going again! On the other hand, I hit my first bout with discouragement last night when I came across the 1st Nutrisystem meal of which I am not a fan (mushroom risotto) but luckily, I didn't give in or slip up and just continued on with my weight loss journey. Also, I am lucky to be on a customized Nutrisystem plan and can simply avoid ordering this meal in the future.
Normally, this would be the moment I gave into a craving (most likely Ben & Jerry's) and then fell off the wagon. Instead, I vented to my boyfriend about feeling discouraged, regrouped and recommitted, without even falling prey to a craving! I am really, really proud of myself. :)
