These are my goals I posted when I signed up for my first DietBet.
I think it is important to reflect on my goals and see what am I doing each day toward achieving them.
Yes, I will have an occasional breakfast of biscuit, sausage and egg (this morning), but I also had a lemon/cranberry smoothie with it. And I am going up to workout after this post.
I am also happy to report that I lost an additional 1/2 pound when I weighed myself this morning, I think due to my Tuesday hotstone massage. I could tell it was still working yesterday, which is why I weighed again today to check out if my inkling was right.
So 3 1/2 pounds in 6 days is a step in the right direction and worth the discipline to eat 6 times a day for the 5 days, including an incredible amount of vegetables - paired with working out and drinking my water. And then eating sensibly yesterday.
Since my first DietBet I have cut my blood pressure medication in half to the lowest dosage. Even though I had gained quite a bit back, I still feel great and have more energy. Here's to sticking with my goals and allowing myself to enjoy this journey.
