I have one addiction to confess. Workout clothes. I have yet to spend a thin dime on every day clothes for my new size. (40 pounds gone as of today) JCPenney active wear, can't get enough. They always seem to be on sale. The flashier the better. My every day clothing is fairly stylish. Workout clothes are usually a black base with a cool designed tank or shirt. I think my workout self craves the attention. I have been covering up and hiding myself for so long. I don't really care who sees me in them. I heard on the news that jeans are taking a back seat to active wear, as clothes you wear in public.
Have had an interesting summer with my college aged daugther at home. She has been trying to kick some "freshmen 15" pounds most of the summer. I stood by watchinng her mistakes and truimphs. I bought her some workout clothes. It seemed to change her whole attitude towords working out and getting on program. Such a simple thing as clothing, can change us from the inside out.
If you feel like you need a change, put on a new outfit to workout. Find something that brings your calorie burning beast out of you. You need to feel fierce on the inside before you make it happen on the outside.
