Decided yesterday to join the 30 day Keeping it Lean in 2016 with Heidi & Chris Powell to keep myself on track - what a power couple in every way.

Yesterday's preplanning worked pretty good - except I had to change my dinner plan because the Sweet Potato Shepherds pie contains coconut oil in the sweet potatoes - which is what makes it sooooo delicious.  But that is a P3 (Fri-Sat-Sun) meal.  So I made some delicious Turkey Chili instead.

Yesterday's Meals:

Breakfast of Quinoa with Cinnamon Apples

Snack 1 Pinapple Strawberry Smothie

Lunch of Poached Chicken Breast and Kale on a bed of Barley with Green Beans and an organic Gala apple

Dinner of Turkey Chili on barley with green beans.  (See the guajillo chilis mmmmm)

Plan for today:

Oatmeal with cinnamon apples - Blueberry Smoothie - Turkey Chili with Barley, Green Beans and an Apple - Pineapple/Strawberry Smoothie - Strip Steak on Romaine with Quinoa/Carrot Salad
