Morning weigh-in: 168.2
That puts me under my starting weight after NYE pushed it up by a pound! Woo! 6.3 more to go! Much aided by yesterday's low caloric intake and a rather lengthy workout. I did 30 min on my stairs with some walk/dancing in between reps to keep my heart rate up - ended up going 35 times (up and down one floor counts as a rep). Then capped that with almost 1.5 hours on my small elliptical thingy (until the movie I was watching ended). The stairs kicked my butt. But that's good. We're taking our honeymoon (finally) to Peru in March, and I'm trying to make sure my legs are ready for a lot of hiking. The weather here isn't conducive to hiking outside at the moment, so the stairs will have to do for now.
Yesterday I ate a piece of salami in the morning and my coffee with cream and sugar, then for lunch had a small half-bowl of leftover chicken paprikas with dumplings (yum). Had another piece of salami and a can of low sodium V8 juice as a post-workout snack, and then leftover sausage with potatoes and sauerkraut for dinner. Not really counting the calories, but it couldn't have been over 2,000. Might be even closer to 1,500. My water intake was 130oz!
Hit my goal of working out 5 times last week. Very proud of that :) This week I plan to do the same, if not 6 or 7. I still have a lot of catching up to do.
Today's plan is to minimize caloric intake again and work out at least an hour combined. I may do a stretching-based P90X3 video, then hop on the elliptical for the length of a video I want to watch (around an hour, I think). Then maybe workout with the husband after he gets off work. We'll see how motivated I'm feeling at that point. But definitely the elliptical, because I'll be watching the video either way, so I might as well be moving while doing it (and getting those steps in!).
Feeling good! Still a ways to go, but my confidence is unwavering.
