Morning weigh-in: 164.2
Down again, at least a bit. Still have those last 2 pounds to go and 11 days. Really hoping I make it, and I'll be working really hard to make sure I do.
Yesterday the food intake was good. I made my chili and added a ham hock to it. Not the healthiest addition, but it was delicious, and I only had a bit of it. Extra protein, right? Workout yesterday was a combination of videos: a leg workout, a butt workout, a lower body barre routine, and then Insanity cardio abs - for a total of 1 hour. Needless to say, I'm feeling sore.
This morning I jumped on the elliptical for an hour and a half. I'll be out and about today, then we're having friends over for dinner tonight, so I wouldn't have had another chance to work out. Dinner is going to be crockpot beef and broccoli. Usually serve it with ramen - I'll be foregoing that addition today. Another higher sodium meal, but calorie wise it's not too bad. Breakfast this morning was lentil chips with cottage cheese. Lunch will be a small portion of leftover chili.
I think the few days before final weigh-in I'm going to pretty much cut sodium from my diet to get that water weight down. Maybe just live on grilled chicken breast, fruits, and veggies. haha. Sounds a little miserable, but if it works, I'm down. If only I didn't love food so much...
Speaking of salt, I think I might get some of that fancy himalayan salt to try out soon. I hear it's much more rich in nutrients and is rather strong and flavorful - so you don't need much of it to enhance food to begin with. Sounds like it's worth checking out to me!
At any rate, hope you all have a lovely day!
