So yesterday at work I decided that the next step to my weight loss was learning to drink more water.  I berudgingly gave up soda about a week ago, which surprisingly didn't help me lose any more weight.  I was expecting giving up soda to be like this miracle thing where I'd instantly lose 10 pounds, hey I can be a dreamer :)  To help myself out on this endevour I bought myself a new waterbottle, labeled it and headed to the water/ice machine.  Another nurse asked about the new waterbottle and I told her "I'm going to try to drink a gallon of water today".  She laughed and stated something to the fact that she was pretty sure I was going to end up peeing my pants during a code since I wouldn't be able to get to a bathroom.

Well, my body was not prepared for a gallon of water.  I was in and out of the bathroom so many times that the secretary started to keep score.  That being said, the water actually helped me out!  I didn't feel as hungry during the day (which I don't know about you, but thats a big deal to me!).  I usually don't weigh in until Thursday so I have a few more days to drink my water to see if it makes a difference on the scale.  I weighed in on Saturday before starting water to see how much I'd actually lose with the water help, and I'm about 60% to my goal for this dietbet!  How is everyone else doing?  What things are you trying or changing?
