Hello all! I am excited to be here. I have struggled with my weight all of my adult life, doing well for a while and then gaining weight back, as many others have done. I am now in my forties and realize I really need to make some important life changes. Eating is my downfall and I am making some gradual, but drastic changes in order to change my life. I am working on a gluten & sugar free diet with one cheat meal a week. I HAVE TO do this for my health. I am pre-diabetic and do not want to become a diabetic. I think joining DietBet and this community will really helpĀ me with motivation and success! I'm glad to be here!

Sign in to CommentI too am on the same path as you. It is difficult but all with support we can do this... I am 47 (soon to be 48), heavy all my life and food is my issue as well. Have you started regular exercise or are you concentrating on diet as a start? I have recently gone "flexatarian", meat two to three times a month, other than than mostly vegetarian. It has helped, but it's been tough. I wish you luck and look forward to more posts.
