Hi Kelli - you have done really good and don't let a plateau discourage you. I have to remember what I just told you, because it is easy for me to tell you that, but then not follow my own advise. I started at 222 and was stuck at 200 for a little bit. Now I am stuck at 172 - but , I am not going to give up. The plateau did discourage me this last week a little and I made cookies - ate some and threw the rest down the garbage disposal, so cookie are out of here! I figured out that I am not perfect and still will have cravings, but can't give in to them all. I wasn't going to let tax season mess up my progress and the stress has already started to make me just want to eat. Stress causes us to hold onto weight also, so that scares me. I don't think I can get through tax season without stress. I wish there was a way, but in my job, there is no way around it. I am not going to change jobs, so I just need to learn to deal with it and try not let it affect my weight. I need to add water again - I was doing so good with the water and this week, I sit at my desk and don't drink much. I will work on that. It seems like I lose when I eat a lot of salads and vegetable soup. I don't like salad dressing, so my salads are plain - vegetables, a little meat and little cheese. I did give up my croutons - except when I go to Ruby Tuesday - I have to have a few. Like one of the other people commented, we may have cut my calories down too far for a while.
