Knowing this morning would be weigh-in, I planned to go to gym just after getting up, doing the weigh-in, then doing a workout.
Eek! Talk about planning not working out the way it should! Went out to a music performance, had a few drinks (and I mention this cos it caused a thirst for water as well as a potty break later on, which ended up being catastrophic issues, as you'll soon see), then went home and found that not only was my phone's battery flat, my car keys in the house (I went in someone else's car), but that my son had locked the door from the inside by accident, so there was simply (the house being on stilts) no way for me to see the inside of those four walls again until such time as he happensĀ to wake up.
Thank goodness for summer, as I spent my al fresco night, star gazing and fantasising about having a glass of water. The box of pizza I'd brought back for him didn't last long...despite the fact that I don't even eat pizza.
So, oh well, this morning saw a weigh-in only. He woke up at 5, which gave me enough time to stop at the gym and attack the scale with my camera, but not much else. But I'm looking forward to being being better prepared tomorrow and actually working out!
