Okay, so I have admitted it here before. I LOVE nuts, I love all kinds (even ones that are technically "legumes"), even the ones that people leave at the bottom of the mixed nuts cans because they don't like them (you know Brazil nuts always seem to be left over. LOL). So, when my Mom and I decided to buy some nuts the other day (because they are good for us)..BAD CHOICE! We left the cans sitting on the kitchen table. So, you know what happens when you are staring at temptation on the kitchen table. Yup, frankly I just ate too many nuts. Yes, they are good for me, but anything taken too much is a problem and it was a problem yesterday. Sigh. So, this morning I put them in a cabinet hard to get to so that I am not looking at them every time I go in the kitchen (you have to go through the kitchen to get to the garage where the washing machine, cars, etc are.). I hope that does the trick. Yes, ask why I just didn't THROW THEM OUT..well, I don't know. It's because nuts aren't cheap and I just don't have it in me to throw them out until they sit in the cabinet so long they get stale. I know, stupid. And, yes why don't I give them away? That is a good question also. Perhaps I will take them to work. In work places people eat about anything, have you ever noticed that? People that wouldn't eat a doughnut at home will eat one at work, etc.
Okay, so I finished (hopefully) with that debaucle and hope it doesn't have too much effect on my final weigh in for this 4 weeks next week. Salt can really bulk the old weight up, at least on a temporary basis. So, I'd better leave those alone for awhile. Okay, so I already signed up for the 6 month Fitness Warriors 2 Transformer game so I guess I can't have them for 6 months either. They will be stale by then and I won't feel guilty throwing them out. Round and round. Okay, again..stupid.
We play (at least I do) mind games with food sometimes. I put something in front of me and I say I am going to be strong and I just want to see how strong I am, and usually it turns out I am a big whimp and not strong at all and succumb. So, get the stuff out of your line of sight. No line of sight, no message to brain, no wanting to eat something you shouldn't. In theory.
It's Sunday and it's day 21. We are past NFL and before baseball so I guess it's old movies on Amazon or Hulu or Netflix. BUT NO NUTS!!!!!
