So I had a way to late dinner tonight due to a few issues, however.. despite it being not so healthy, (except for the avocado) I actually did not have seconds!! I'm usually a binge eater or restrict way too much, but I didn't do either and yes, I did go a little over my calories (197 cals).. but that is like nothing compared to the past few days.
As far as the seconds. I really thought about it, and I guess being more mindful helped.. like: "How satisfied am I right now? Do I really need seconds? Let me just sit down a bit longer, have some water, and think about it."
I know it's nothing big, but I think it's huge for me.
I also noticed. I had no chocolate today!! Omg!! -- I think I'm finally ready to put my foot down. I am tired of being in my body the way it is now, and only I can do something about it.
I even bought a new food scale.
So plans for tomorrow:
Breakfast (since I'm always on the run):
- coffee
- smoothie with ms. Delight, banana, almond milk
Snack: Blueberries,
Lunch: Tuna with spinach, avocado, and tomatoes
Dinner: TBD (might just cook for the family and have a shake, but I do have to cook for my girls).
I'm happy with my baby steps.
