Goal weight: 155
Down by less than a pound today, but down nonetheless. I ended up not working out yesterday. Personal issues and such kind of weighed me down. But today I'm going to at least get on my elliptical. Thankfully yesterday I still managed to stay on top of my eating. Had oatmeal with berries and PB for breakfast - which was so filling that I made it to lunch without a snack. Lunch was the rest of the ratatouille and a veggie burger. For dinner I made this roasted carrot salad I really love. Had string cheese and almonds as a snack.
Today is Sister Date day! Going to see 2 movies with the SIL, and getting dinner in between. Going to attempt to keep it healthy. We'll either do lebanese or thai. I'm opting out of the movie popcorn and soda, which is a true testament of my committment here, trust me. I live for movie popcorn.
Not much else to report today - in a blah mood after some nonsense last night, and not feeling terribly good. It's a little gloomy outside as well, so it'll be a perfect day for watching movies and spending time with a gal that energizes me so. I'm incredibly lucky to have such a close relationship with my sister in law. She has really become my best friend in so many ways. And we're both working on losing weight and becoming healthier (/sexier) for our Mexico vacation. We're going in a big group, and she'll be celebrating her grad school graduation while I'm celebrating my bday. All around a great time to look forward to.
I'll try and keep that in mind as I go through this blah day!
So thankful I have someone I can spend time with to make me feel better rather than relying on junk food! That's the right decision to make for ME.
