Well today is the first official day of my Dietbet. I look forward to the challenge. Yesterday I did a 10km-6mile walk with my half marathon training group. My walking partner is also trying to lose weight so we are a good match.
I am determined to get at least 8-10 lbs off by October 30 which is when we leave for Mexico. Did I tell you - it is for us 10 weeks of all inclusive. This year I plan to take my scales as well as do a lot more exercise while I am there.
I have been battling my weight for several years now, going up and down all the time. I know this is not good for the body. Fortunately I am very healthty and at 67 take no medication or seem to have any health problems. Always have kept active but don't know why I can't manage my weight. This time I am basically following Weight Watchers from an old program a few years ago. I think it is the best all around progrma and one that can be sustained for life. I have a wonderful husband who will do whatever I decide is the diet of the week.
