So yesterday I was off of work due to NY getting almost a foot of snow (YaaaaY!!!) My office called me early to say "don't come in!" & I was loving it!

I got up early in the morning(around 4am), had a green smoothie w/ organic orange juice & kale, waited abot 30 minutes & then did about 30 minutes of zumba. After that I took a shower & hopped right back in the bed & slept until about 11:30am.

After I woke up (again) My diet was pretty bad. My fiance had a snow day too, so we ate snacks & watched movies all day. We ate cheddar popcorn, tortillas w/ salsa, I had 1 slice of frozen pizza & 1 peanut butter sandwich with whole grain bread. I spread the peanut butter on my sandwich so thinly that I barely ate a teaspoon of it so even with all of the snacks I still stayed under my caloric goal BUT..............the stomach cramps that came w/ eating all of those grains:-( I remember about a year ago getting some pretty bad stomach pain after eating non-organic popcorn, but I didn't think much about it because I just decided to purchase all organic/non gmo corn products after that-- but yesterday was the first time in a long time that I tried non organic corn & the stomach pains were hell! I also normally don't eat white flour or even bread for that matter---My stomach was just a hot mess-- I just seem to do a lot better on organic whole grains, vegetables & organic meat so I actually am so excited about being back on my diet today.

This morning I had:

1 green smoothie w/ 2 bananas & 1 cup of kale & 8 oz of orange juice

snack: organic crackers

lunch: 1 green smoothie w/ 2 banans & 1 cup of kale & 8 oz of orange juice

 

I'm not counting calories today because I plan on drinking tons of the green smoothies to get my stomach back to normal & it's already working! My stomach loves fresh greens, orange juice & fresh fruit! I'm feeling so much better & I can't wait to do my workout when I get home today!
