This is a fabulous story, and thank you for sharing your experience! I really appreciate the fact that you're such a supportive member of the dietbet community and so consistent about sharing info on your lifestyle! The "short" of my story is that I'm 101 lbs down from my highest-ever weight that I saw on the scale in October 2014. I lost the first 80 by Spring 2015 and jmore or less maintained for about 1.5 years--got married, finished grad school, had a baby. Obviously pregnancy wasn't a maintenance period, but I gained the medically-recommended amount of weight and lost it within a month of having my son. I'm now working on the last 25 lbs in order to reach a BMI of 24, which is my long-term goal for maintenance. It really DOES get harder to lose as you approach your goal, but I think the changes are more visible. Weight loss is never easy but it's always so rewarding, and I will always count losing 100+ lbs as one of the coolest things I've ever done. I'll post a before and after pic soon-- I'm about 21 lbs heavier in my current "after" pic so I need to update it!
