Ideally I'd not work out late at night but 10pm last night I felt more energetic than I had the past two days so I jumped on my treadmill. I only did a brisk walk with some jogging in between, but I forgot how amazing it feels to have a shower post work out. To most burning only 400 calories in an hour is hardly anything, the old me would burn more than twice that amount. But 13 years and countless lbs later, i'm incredibly unfit (and heavy). 

 

My trusty treadmill is very dusty (evidenced in the photo).  The safety clip no longer works so it makes me hesitant to run as i've fallen over before and lost several layers of skin (grim!).

 

I'm getting a new one when we move in October, hopefully one with a built in fan. My goal is to get confident enough to run outdoors as I think that's so much better with the fresh air, but for the winter and when i'm not feeling up to going out, I like to have a treadmill. 

 

I think this time i'll get one with a built in fan as I'm always having to get a fan out in the summer. 

 

I hope everyone else is doing well. I'm still not quite sure how to use this site.
