I did not win this dietbet. Not a surprise! How much I gained was a surprise but, to be honest, I feel that this is just a blip and will quickly go. It's shifting the rest of the fat that will be hard.
Positives about this dietbet:
- I learnt a lot about how important it is to be aware of what is on the calendar and how this will affect my weight loss. I had had quite a stressful time recently but expected to be able to focus on me for the last two weeks. I didn't factor in that I would personally need a complete break.
- I'm not beating myself up or hating myself for not losing weight. I'm actually in a very postive place at the moment.
Negatives about this dietbet:
- I didn't win!
- I didn't find the group very supportive. I'm not laying any blame, we all have busy lives. It's just that very few people created 'activity' within the group so it felt like I was going it alone (a quick shout out to those who did, thank you!) This leaves me in a bit of a quandary with future games too as it looks like I would probably be better off with a larger game but these don't tend to start on Fridays. Something to ponder.
I've cancelled my own dietbet and signed up for this one, $300 in Bonus Prizes! Summer Slim-down 3! The bet is higher than I'm comfortable with but this may work out in my favour in the long run and my winnings from my first bet help to bridge the difference.
