I am a member of The Camp. For those that aren't familiar, it's a fitness bootcamp that also includes an eating plan. They do a 6-week challenge where you have to lose 20 pounds. While it's "free" they do charge a $400 commitment fee. They said people don't take it seriously unless money is involved. If you reach your ultimate goal, you get the money back. The money keeps rolling over to the next challenges until you reach your ultimate goal. If at any point in the challenge, you don't lose the 20 pounds, you lose the money.
So I went through my first 6-week challenge, but I had a family reunion the final week. So on my final weigh in, I was 2.4 pounds short. While I was proud of myself for getting that far, I was disappointed that I didn't make it in the 5 weeks. The thing that I realized going through that is how much money actually motivates me.
I said all that to say that is why I'm here. Even though the financial commitment isn't as much, the chance of splitting a huge pot motivates me to stick to it. I have the exercise part down because I decided to join The Camp. I still exercise 4-5 days a week.
My challenge is the food part. I actually didn't follow The Camp's eating plan the entire time. I found better results going back to keto. I probably would have made it doing keto the whole time... okay, Adrienne... let it go.
Anyway, I have to lose 4% of my weight in 4 weeks, which isn't even 10 pounds. I got this!!!
