I thought I was doing great, until I checked 3 days ago and saw that I was bak over the 2nd-round goal. So I basically stopped eating anything tht wasn't veggies, fruit, low-fat plain yogurt, and water.
It felt completely crazy and unhealthy to me, briefly. Then I realized that the unhealthy part was the "not paying attention after Thanksgiving," because I'd done such a great job of preparing for Thanksgiving, and then kind-of congratulated myself by not paying attention to food after-the-fact. And that a day (or more) a week of only super-healthy food choices and super-low calories might be a healthy long-term choice. (There are studies: mammals who fast or have irregular eatiing patterns tend to be healthier--and thinner--than those who eat exactly the same amounts on exactly the same schedule.)
Anyway, I am not sure if I'm being really great and self-nurturing right now, or completely crazy, because I weighed this morning so I could either: "starve" more, or "go and eat something".
::sigh::
Did anyone else do something they thought was crazy to meet the goal? (And I mean, I *skimmed* into the goal. Barely. Weighed-before-drinking-coffee kind of making it.)
