Well today is a great day because it marks the day I have officially lost 20 lbs total since I began my whole weight loss journey! Hooray! I am only 6-7 lbs from rejoining the "100s" again... If I win this DietBet I'll be there! Boy will that feel good. I have a very long way to go but I will get there. I know I will.
Boy I'm still sicker than a dog and yet dragged my butt into work. I didn't get any sleep last night listening to my son coughing all the time on the baby monitor, and after doing the 100 oz water challenge yesterday I was up to pee like every hour...not kidding. I'm down 1.2 lbs since my official weigh-in here on DietBet but I have a strong feeling its due to being sick, you know? I'm worried I'll gain when I'm feeling better, but hopefully I'll keep it off and continue to lose. But so far it puts me on the right track to reaching my goal! Geez, comparing my progress to others is a little disheartening. People are hitting 50, 60% of their goals already and its only day 2!!! I've only hit 14%. I'm worried.
I'm starting to feel like a real fish-out-of-water with all this healthiness LOL. I see what everyone else is doing and I'm over here like "Geez, I wish I could be doing that or enjoyed eating that." I unfortunately have a job where I literally sit on my butt for 8 hours. The whole time. I don't have the luxury of time in the morning for working out, and only in the late evening if my babies let me. All I have is a treadmill. Overall, I definitely don't drink more than 60-80 oz of water a day, and when I do I actually feel awful. Like an over-filled, water-logged water balloon. LOL I'm not too bad when it comes eating healthy - I enjoy a fair amount of healthy eating. I feel like I'm in a sea of health-fanatics and I'm over here just doggy-paddling to keep my nose above water LOL!! I hope I'm not the only one. I basically just do what I can. I wish I could do more and I wish I was more knowledgeable about this stuff. I don't have any fancy gadgets or apps...nor could I afford said gadget even if I wanted one. Oh well.
I haven't gotten back on the treadmill since my first 5K. I sure hope I get back on the horse once I'm feeling better!! For now its lots of Kleenex and green tea.
