"It's time for a change.."

"Becoming a better me.."

"Ready to start this weight loss journey!"

"Progress is progress!"

"This time will be different!"

"I got this!"

BLAH BLAH BLAH

Not to say things don't sound good, or aren't motivational and uplifting; But because after trying and failing every time - it's time to kick the cliche quotes and get down to business. Let's be honest, sometimes we just don't 'got it'.

I have been steadily gaining weight for the last 2 years, and have gained a total of 100 pounds! A food addiction, struggling with depression and anxiety, in addition to the typical chaos of being in your early 20's. What I've learned: Life is hard, and stuffing your problems with McDonald's and Little Debbies don't make the problems go away - but harder to deal with.

This is why, after letting myself get to a point where I can barely walk from the car into my house without my legs hurting and being winded, I know I have to stop making excuses and start being accountable.

Hoping this community can help me with that part, since it's the mental challenges that are the most difficult to overcome!
