So after doing DietBet for a year and being almost at goal weight I tried to do a summer without it and failed miserably. Apparently maintaining really IS harder than losing. Hopefully DietBet will have their maintenance game going before I get at target again. I let myself relax too many days, which led to eating junk and not tracking calories and now here I am, needing to lose some weight again. Maybe subconsciously I missed being a part of DietBet so much, my body wanted to gain so I could participate again. Lol Okay, maybe not, but I really do miss it and the support and drive it gives me. No more "I'll do it to tomorrow". I love the, "A year from now you'll wish you had started today" quote. So true.

Thanks ladies! I hate that I gained weight, but live and learn. It's a never ending process. At least I stopped myself now instead of in another 30 lbs.

I'm in the same boat with you Kendra. After a summer of a Hawaiian vacation and a half a dozen road trips and being off track..gained over 15 lbs.....taking a break from Diet Bet was probably the worst thing that I could have done. However, we know what we have to do to get back on track and get rid of the weight that we put on. I'm delighted to be playing in Diet Bets with you again. We are definitely going to do this in a big way. Let's be the BIG LOSERS that we know we are. Go Kendra go!!!!!
