OK...So I was feeling satisfied but not full from dinner last night. I wanted to feel a lil' fuller...Why? Just the habit that I'm trying to break. But I put the plate away.
THANKFULLY I went food shopping earlier and purchased the Outshine Bars (Creamy Coconut and some other flavors). I was a fan because they're made with real fruit, taste great and can calm a sweet tooth. The Creamy Coconut is 120 kcals...not bad at all (althugh my other bars are 60 kcals).
After thinking I was feeling "cheated" out of a good meal....the Creamy Coconut Outshine Bar was the needed finale. Nice, smooth, filling....makes you want to enjoy every lick! I was now properly satusfied. The time I enjoyed with the lil' desert gave me time to digest my dinner. All was followed up by tea and water.
So now...I have a commitment to keep a nice, lo-cal, treat nearby. If I wasn't using MFP...I could see myself having multiple bars. But that's part of the accountability with keeping the energy intake in check.
