So, I know I have posted and complained about my Plantar Fasciitis and bone spurs already. When I was at the doctors getting my 2 Cortisone shots in the heel I was extremely frustrated and overwhelmed by the amount of weight I still had to go - how am I going to do this???
Well I put on my big girls panties - quit complaining and switched my focus the things I can control:
1. Well-balanced, nutritious foods that fuel my body and make me feel good. I weigh and track my food and I make sure to eat enough calories usually between 1,200 and 1,600 - normally closer to 1,500 calories - this has been the number that works for me right now. I also limit my meat-based protiens to 2-3 times a week. (In YOUR dietbettor screen it gives you a recommendation on the range of calories to consume to reach your goal.)
2. A blend of cardio "chair" exercises, balance ball practice and upper body work.

3. SLEEP! I am in bed for between 9 and 11 hours a night - my personal sleep record during this time was last night at 8 hours and 45 minutes of actual sleep (measured by my Jawbone UP24).
This is working for me (knocking on wood).
The Transformer (July 15 - Jan) I am now ahead of my monthly goal with 2 days left - Yes!!!
Dani's Dietbet I have only 1.3 more pounds to go (5 days)
Tony's Comeback Challenge 2.6 pounds (11 or 12 days left)
My suggestion is focus on POSITIVES and celebrate each day's opportunities for success. Namaste.
