Today is Sunday July 20th, 2014.
I recently honestly reached out to 2 of my great friends and my husban for support. They don't want to bet this time around anyway.
We usually eat out once or twice a week at a restaurant. We've decided to stop that and cook for ourselves.
Mylinda and Laura (2 friends mentioned) have joined the gym I go to. Fabulous gym (Good Shepherd Institute for Healthy Living). Sunday is set aside for cooking and portioning out meals. Just checked out calorie and nutritent contents of an aveage day at http://www.myfitnesspal.com. It looks like I'll be eating around 1700 calories.
I work from my car. I am a home health nurse. I need to find a way to walk a little bit in the course of the day?? It just depends on where I'm going. If its the boon-docks I don't know??? If its in town easy. I'll just get out and walk a block or around it.
Water Water Water.... from Aqua Aerobics 3 times a week to drinking it. It is so important and I'm afraid I've gotten an F on it recently. Time to improve.
I'm also a diabetic. I take insulin and pills. It's very difficult to lose weight while taking for me. So I just got to try and lower my bg so I can take less of it. I'm very bad at keeping up with medications for myself. Life gets way busy and I tell myself mentally to take them soon and then the day is gone. But I'm going to publicly list my bg here daily. I'm not usually up for that. I don't tell my husband very often what it is either and he's my closes friend! So todays bg 344 mg/dL. I didn't take insulin or pills yesterday and we ate out at Texas Roadhouse. :(
