It's great that you're finding working out a good thing. I would like to get to that point. I guess it means I have to start working out first. :) I had the same experience the last time I joined the gym. I worked out, but didn't see anything on the scale, but I felt good. After doing a lot of research, I learned that there's a lot going on that you can't see. There is fat in places that needs to be burned, such as our liver, and even fat under fat before it really becomes totally noticeable. Eventually, IT HAS TO GIVE UP. Like a tough component in the ring, it can only take so my many blows to the head before it goes down! Here's to that!! and stay away from beer and crap food. :)
