How do you calculate your Lean Body Mass? I always wondered if the .8-1 was for your actual weight or not ....

Since there are so many inaccurate formulas out there I used 4 different formulas and took the average of them to find my Body Fat % then subtracted it from my body weight and that is my lean body weight. I do not add on 10% of essential fat like some people do. It is .8-1 g/lb of LEAN body mass - I used to think body weight but that would put me eating 275g of protein a day! Simply impossible and very likely to make me ill.
