I haven't been recording my weight since it's been going up and down. I'm still experimenting with Sara's macro calculator. I'm having trouble (if you can believe this) consuming all the calories I'm supposed to eat. I'm doing the 4/20 IF only because of my daily schedule. Trying to eat 1400 calories all in that window is hard so I'm doing the 6/18 now and still I'm still having trouble. Anybody else having problems, or is it just me?? I work late so my first meal is at 5 PM and I ate 4 oz of chicken, 1 cup of butternut squash and a plate of assorted veggies. For dinner I had 3 oz of wild caught salmon, steamed brocolli and an micro-greens salad with a hummus dressing, then ended my fead at 9 PM with a Quest peanut butter cup. I thought I was going to blow at the end of this. Still feeling way too full by the time I hit the sack at 3 AM.

Sign in to CommentYeah I had trouble, and then I ate more calorie dense food. My body has adjusted and now I have no problem eating my calories in the 8 hrs and I"m getting more veggies. Like, I did creamed spinach, rice and chicken, a greek salad, some black bean brownies with protein and a protein shake yesterday. I was done in 7 hrs. I'm on 20/8

I guess I could Sara. Do veggies have more calories if they are steamed or raw? I guess I'm going to have to do my research.
I totally am in your same boat- when I first started the 20/4 I would eat in those 4 hours like it was my last time to ever eat anything- and my husband would look at me with these big eyes and say "your going to eat again?" It was hard to figure out what I liked the best- During this dietbet challenge I am trying ADF- and I seem to like it so far.
Gina! Can you eat higher calorie dishes? high calorie veggies? So it's more calories for the same or less volume you stuff in?
