Phase II: Nothing Half-Assed Gets Results

 

I had a great start to this challenge but was sidelined a bit with my one week vacation hiking in Nepal. While it was an active holiday, it's always tougher when you aren't making your own food. I also let some alcohol in... So no major weight gain, but no progress either...

So this is the start of phase II. For me food is the clincher but now I am also going to focus on raising my energy levels and losing the belly fat through exercise. I ran 10 km today and had energy to spare.. so I started Jillian Michael's 30 day shred videos. Level one was harder than they looked! But I loved the high it gave me throughout the day. I can see it can be addictive.

The theme of this challenge is being honest with myself. So tracking my food, sleep and exercise is key to having a realistic picture of my health and fitness. It's OK, but if I want to get serious results I need to put in more serious effort.

So from now on it's daily serious exercise, super clean eating, no sugar or alcohol, smaller portions and 8 hours of sleep.

I tend to work well under pressure so now it's game on!
