Now that the Marine Corps Marathon is over, I'm off of carbo loading and back on the Diet Bet train. My body is still sore in a few places, so I am not allowing myself to do much other than walk. I need to weigh in today and see where I stand and how far I need to go in the next few weeks.
According to MyFitnessPal, my daily calorie goal to lose two pounds a week is 1200. I was under that yesterday (1032) and MFP warned me that I was not eating enough. It's going to be interesting staying under my calorie goal while eating "enough."
I was pulled onto the straggler bus with fewer than 5 miles to go in the marathon, and I'm really struggling with this emotionally. I ate a large burger and drank a beer a few hours after the race, but other than that, I haven't been feeling like eating much. My fiance bought a Chipotle burrito bowl yesterday morning that we split in the Atlanta airport, and I had a Smoothie King smoothie twelve hours later. I've got to get it together, make smarter choices, and spread my calorie intake throughout the day.
