Is DietBet10 compatible with DietBet4? Will I lose weight too fast and be disqualified? Comments please, if you have successfully combined the two types of bet.

Sign in to CommentI've just done a DB4 at the beginning of my DB10 and it worked great as a kick-starter - but for me it was a one off. I didn't have much to lose (around 15lbs), and I know I wouldn't be able to lose 4% in 4 weeks again without an excessive (in my opinion ;-) ) amount of exercise.
I am currently in two DB10s in addition to my DB4s, and I like that if I stick to my DB4 goals, I'll automatically meet my DB10 goals. :)
Here are the disqualification percentages by round:
Round 1 - 12%
Round 2 - 18%
Round 3 - 24%
Round 4 - 27%
Round 5 - 30%
Round 6 - 30%
Also, the weekly weigh-in tokens are completely optional. I didn't buy them because I don't want to spend money if there's no guarantee of a return, even if I put in the work.

Yes and they are compatible. I have been in both types for 10 months. It gets confusing when you use the tokens to weigh in weekly in the 6 month game vs final/beginning weigh ins for month long games, but I was never disqualified for having lost at different rates. Each of the 3 times I was in a 6 month game, I lost more than 10% and I was worried, but I looked up the disqualification percentages and found that I was ok. I recommend you do that too.
