I love the outdoors. I used to do quite a lot of hiking, camping, mountain climbing, canoeing, snowshoeing.... I haven't lately. Having three kids, putting on fifty pounds, and stopping the high level of physical activity I was used to has taken a toll on my body, especially my back and feet. I want to get back to these activities, and get back in the great outdoors. And I especially want to take my kids with me, now that they are getting old enough--but I want to be fit enough to enjoy these things without pain, stress, or just plain being too out of shape.
There are so many reasons to do this--and so few reasons not to!
