So I have always been on the thinner side. Last february I slipped on ice and hurt my knee. I had corrective surgery in late June and had been in therapy to regain strength in my leg. For months I could not walk or move for the most part. My eating habbits went down the drain. And in 9 months I put on almost 30lbs. This is the most I have ever weighed and the largest I have ever been. I no longer like photos of myself and my self esteem has about disappeared. I am hoping to get in shape and become stronger and much more tone. Here goes nothing!

I had foot surgery in my early 20's and was so afraid to gain weight I bought Jane Fonda's now-classic workout videos and hobbled around in my room to get it done. It worked, though, and got me hooked on working out!
You'll do great -- stay focused!
