I've always had trouble with my weight. When I was 23/24, I lost a lot of weight. I weighed 160 pounds and looked good. A couple years later, I got pregnant with my first son, and unfortunately, I didn't have a fifty pound baby. I tried here and there, but I never lost that weight. Three years later, I became pregnant with my second son, and although I did better, I didn't have a thirty pound son either. When I went to my four week appointment in May, I weighed 220 pounds. Obviously, I wasn't happy, so I decided to do something about it. I started watching what ate, lost 10 pounds, and then joined dietbet.com. I really like this website; it keeps me motivated. I now weigh 183.8 pounds. I have around 20 more pounds to go. I did it once, and I know I can do it again. How? For one, I watch what I eat. I eat smaller portions, less carbs, less processed food, hardly any fast food or soda, lots of water, and I don't eat it unless I really like it. That was a problem of mine. I would eat things until they were gone even if I didn't really like it. I would feel unsatisfied and eat more. Bad Idea! Secondly, I workout. I have just challenged myself to workout everyday for six weeks to both Jillian Michaels' fitness videos (burn fat boost metabolism and six week six pack). So far, I have done it for three days and have lost three pounds. The videos are on youtube. Give it a try. Finally, I keep a list of things I need to do each day. Checking tasks off a list helps keep me focused. If anything sounds like something that would benefit you. Please try it. Good luck to you and to me!

I like what you said about checking tasks off a list. It is good to have other things to do besides eat. Not sure if you are a stay at home mom or not but I am, and there are about 100 times per day where I am like, "what's in the fridge?" It is dangerous, but keeping busy with chores, hobbies, and obviously the baby helps so much. Good luck!! You are doing awesome.

Way to go! Very inspiring. Great that you're challenging yourself (publicly!) to work out every day for six weeks. You seem totally committed to making that happen and I bet you'll be on autopilot afterwards. Good luck with the last 20!
