I'm about to do my first "real" winter run with 1°C outside. I have to wait though, because inexpectedly the battery of my "running-phone" is flat and I have to charge it a little bit first.
But I am already wearing my running clothes, so no backing out today!
I gained 1,2kg through the holidays and it is harder than usual to lose it (most likely because I have some not-weight/eating-related issues at the moment; I strongly believe, that sorrows affect my body and its ability to "work/burn effectively", without eating very different from everyday life).
So therefore I have to workout more than usual, so that I can manage to lose the additional 600g - and at best can enjoy New Year's Eve without having to check every bite I'll take.
I would looove to reach the second goal, (especially since many of us here won't make it - there might be a nice pot in store *haha), I already picked my "celebration food"! I know it sounds terrible, using food to celebrate weight loss, but it works for me. A little "overeating" now and then keeps my oven burning! *g
And in my opinion the second month is the hardest goal, especially directly after christmas and New Year's, so if i reach this one, the rest should be a piece of cake.
I will check my phone now, check if the dog is back from his walk with my Dad -he ist my pacemaker; the dog, not my Dad- brush my teeth (people do the weirdest things, right? I feel, I run better with freshly brushed teeth :D) and there I go!
