I'm running the Resolution Run 10km tonight and starting The Transformer tomorrow. I've let my weight creep up and it is affecting my running - I feel more pressure on my knees, my heart rate is higher and I'm just less comfortable. I want running to feel good again.
I used to belong to WW, but I ended up dropping out when I couldn't get off a plateau. I just lost the WW mojo. Then I gradually put the weight back on because I stopped paying attention to portion sizes and to eating regularly. I considered going back to WW, but while I love the accountability of the weigh ins, I can't handle the meetings.
I plan to eat every 3 hours on weekdays, because I've found that prevents me from binging and keeps my energy up.
I've bought a weekly planner at the dollar store to track my eating. I tried tracking electronically and it didn't work as well for me as paper and pen.
I track my running via Garmin Connect.
I want to lose 10% of my weight so that I move better, look better and have more fun!
