Yesterday I started thinking about what I have achieved so far. I have really problems with my motivation these days, so I was thinking that if I looked at what I have achieved and what I want to achieve, maybe I will get motivated again.

So, what is my achievements?

  • Eating breakfast every day now, instead of just a couple of times a week
  • Half my plate (or more) is now salad on every lunch meal. 
  • Half of my dinner is low starch vegetables
  • Drinking water throughout all day, and to all meals. Have only had 4 servings of soda since I started DietBet in April.
  • Always have four meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack). Snack meal is mostly berries, vegetables or just a small crispbread. 
  • Plan my meals for a week at the time.
  • Some kind of exercise (walking, golf, strength..) 5 times a week. 
  • Replaced all chocolate with dark chocolate, and eat it no more than once a week.

What do I want to achieve over the next weeks?

  • Harder exercise at least once a week
  • Stop eating of boredom (I eat unhealthy or just to much when I don't have anything else to do)
  • Stop eating other candy except for a little bit on Saturdays (need a treat every week).
  • Stop drinking alcohol except for special ocations.

 

My achievement list is way longer than what I need to achieve. Maybe that is the reason why I have problems with motivation? I have already come so far. Well.. Let's focus on one thing at the time. Boredom first! :)
