One of my habits that I cannot break is to weigh myself daily.  I tried for 2 weeks not weighing myself and I gained 4lbs.  I find that by seeing what I weigh every day it helps me to modify what needs to happen that day.

For example - If I binge out one night I am going to weigh more the next day.  By standing on the scale in the morning it brings it to reality as opposed to "thinking" I didn't gain weight.  So that day I drink lots of water, eat healthy and hope that I can flush my body from what I put into it.

This habit was very rough at first.  I was always getting down on myself if I gained weight.  Now, after lots and lots of reminding myself, it's just another way for me to track my progress.

I will probably weigh myself daily forever and I'm okay with that.  I will win over my scale.  Also, I don't just follow the numbers on the scale I also go by how my clothes fit.  What I learned early on is that the scale isn't always right in regards to how healthy you are, especially if you have a lot of muscle mass; HOWEVER if you are significantly overweight then the scale is right in that you need to get down to a healthy weight.
