The focus of this week has been working to drink half my body weight in water and adding more for the workouts or outdoor activities I do. Some people may be like well that is pretty simple. Until you take in consideration the equation for people like me. I am drinking a lot of water!
With all this consumption of H20 I have started walking around singing a modified version of a child song "Tinkle Tinkle Little Star." Keeping just this title here, and the lyrics quite because depending on how I am feeling they can be not so nice lyrics.
I have many reasons for adding water to my daily routine, one of which is it has been suggested here. However, the main reason is I suffer from Migraines, and used to consume crazy ammounts of Diet Cokes to keep them at bay. Thinking little of the fact that consumption very litterally could be the cause of a majority of them.
So new year, new program, new me all means quiting my most harsh addiction Diet Soda. This is turning into a battle. I am down to one, one glass of diet coke in the morning. and plan on cutting that out starting this weekend. Not so bad one might say. Well considering I have gone from consuming about my weight in ounces of Diet Coke a day to 20 ounces in my mind is a pretty big step and when I can cut them completely out this weekend a major victory.
So here's to the small, big and huges steps and victories we are all reaching. Give yourself a pat on the back and a high five!
