Anyone else out there "winging it"?  And by that I mean not counting calories, not eliminating carbs, not following the latest fad diet craze?

When I started this time (read my other blog for more into) I decided I wasn't going to obsess.  I want to be healthy, I want a sustainable life plan.  I want to find out what works for MY body and do that for the rest of my life.

I want to get to the place where I can truly say, "if God didn't make it, I won't eat it".  That's (for me) a hard thing to do these days between work and children and grandchildren with all the processed convenience foods.

I started out saying, "I don't care if the scale doesn't move a pound, I want to be healthier" and that is stiill true.  Of course, I am a big girl, any changes are going to produce SOME weight loss.  I would really just like to someday get under 200 pounds.

Is there anybody out there who has had true, sustainable success not counting and diet trending....just looking to live longer no matter what the scale says?judges your progress?
