I have discovered that I have to keep my mind in check. While I am busy at work, I don't think to much about my diet and exercise plan. When I am driving to work it is all I can think about, when I drive home it all I am thinking about, at lunch time, break time, walking to the copier, when I get home, it is all I am thinking about.
When does it become natural that the way you eat, exercise and just live healthy becomes automatic and I don't have to always be thinking about it? Having to keep the positive motivation going, talking yourself out of not eating something, talking yourself into going to work out, wondering if you worked out enough, will the scale be kind, is very exhausting.
I see why I have failed in the past. It gets to be overwhelming to be constantly having to be on guard about everything you do or not do. I so want to succeed at this and I know that I have to stay focused and keep going.
I hope that by the time I reach my ultimate goal that all of this will be so automatic that it isn't an all day thought process to stay on track, it just something I do.
