It is one of the hardest things to do: Losing weight especially if you are going through pre-menopause. Your hormones are all over the place and it is even harder to lose jusr one LB. You need to work out twice as much to make a difference and cut down on calories. You really have to concentrate on what you are doing to make a difference. Doctors have not helped at all in this regard to manage the hormones so the weight will come off more easily. I have to keep fighting harder to get this off. Some days are better than others. If you have more advice please send it over.

Sign in to CommentHi, I just read your post from Feb. 18, and I relate. I am actually post meno., and still find it difficult mostly because I don't do much exercising anymore. When I was pre-meno, I did gain weight more easily. At least there is hope because I don't really gain weight so much any more, though I don't lose it either! I think you are on track, just keep on 'keeping on'! Take Care, diney gee
Jill,What did you do to stop gaining? It is a severe problem for me..
No advise just that I am right there with you. My problem is the ups and downs that go with menopause. I am finally past tge stage of gaining easily but the yo yo emotions still creep up.. praying for ya.
